Before going any further, I need to pose a question: Can you name one thing in your home that was neither mined nor harvested?
The best answer I have heard so far is "me" or "myself". Someone said "my cell phone" ...... all of the elctrical components of your cell phone are the products of mining. The plastic case is petroleum based .. also a product of mining. ... any more guesses?
