Against convention, albino corys are relatively easy to breed. A drop in temperature along with a falling barometer induce these fish to spawn. If rain is in the forecast, do a 50% water change the evening prior, and drop the temp by about 5 degreesF. They should be laying eggs within 24 hours of the water change. The reason for the bowl in the tank is that corys have air bladders and need to surface regularly. The fry have an easier time sufacing in the bowl with a low water level. Water in the bowl comes from the tank and needs to be cleaned and changed daily. The best cleaning tool for this is a turkey baster.
